Work Text:
The twins were doing what they do best - fighting. Their mother wasn't far away, tending to her flower garden as the children wrestled each other through the grass. They ended up back on their feet, grappling against each other at the base of a tree. Vergil landed a sharp kick to Dante's gut and the younger twin cried out as he hit the tree.
The commotion disturbed the bird nest overhead, a mother bird poking her head out over the top. She started chirping at them, like she was scolding them. Dante laughed as their mother called out to them.
