The news spread quickly like wildfire, and in a place like PTMC that lived off of their staff’s personal and private life outside the hospital, they devoured it like hungry lions.
Baran didn't mean to listen nor pry, despite her own warnings about discussing gossip in the workplace. She just so happened to be in the vicinity of the night shift nurses and their voices just so happened to be too loud to be considered whispers, audible enough for her to perceive their poorly hushed conversation as she pretended not to listen while charting.

About Santos and Garcia?” The mention of the surgeon and R2’s name and made the attending suddenly aware of her surroundings, if ears were detachable she would've taken off hers by now to respect and at least leave them a bit of their dignity left, but she couldn't help but be curious too. Hypocrite.
