Work Text:

As much as he tried to ignore it, there was a persistent beeping noise that sounded out right beside him, directly into his ear. Perhaps ignore would be a stretch; it was more like Sharpness simply didn't care about it at the time. Blinking awake, he yawned and rubbed his eyes tiredly, remnants of his dream slowly fading away, before another god awful beep begged for his attention. The sound in his ear made him flinch and he wanted nothing more than to grab hold of the device and send it flying across the room.

But instead, Sharpness grumbled to himself and reached for his communicator, turning onto his side with a sigh and flicking through channels until he found the one that had been pestering him. His eyes squinted unpleasantly against the light as he read the messages and calls that he had apparently missed during his sleep. Though, to his defense, he wasn't sure why someone could possibly need him so urgently in the dead of the night. For Christs sake, he didn't even know what time it was.

His eyes kept running back over the same words over and over again, unable to comprehend a meaning behind them through his dense and groggy brain. He passed by the same sentence once more, before the word "Jude" caught hold of his attention, making him immediately gain a sudden sense of clarity unlike the state he was in only moments ago.

Sharpness sat up immediately and pulled the white blanket and covers off his body as he slid his legs out of bed, his feet blindly searching for his boots on the ground as his fingers stumbled to respond to Flanke, letting him know that he was on the way. The things that Flanke had been urging at him began to make sense now, and Sharpness cursed to himself and everyone and everything that unfortunately came to mind. He felt the cool netherite of one of his boots brush against his socked foot, and without hesitation, he attempted to dive his feet straight in.

Though no one could've prepared him for the difficulty of putting on boots while being in complete darkness, and in a hurry, while also half asleep.

He attempted to stick his foot in again before completely missing and hitting his foot against the floor. Incredibly, Sharpness's brain decided to work itself, and with a frustrated click of his tongue, he reached down and picked up the netherite boot with his hands, which instantly proved to be much more effective than blindly stomping his feet all over the ground. Matter of fact, it made it much easier to feel which foot the armor piece was made for, and to put it over the right one.

His hands reached down to search for the last boot once the first one had been put on, and he hastily worked it over his other foot once it was secured. After tussling with the task of putting on shoes, Sharpness was feeling much more alert and awake. His eyes were able to adjust better to the dark and he felt ready to get up and go secure an intoxicated man.

A groan escaped his lips when he stood up properly, stretching his sore limbs with a yawn. His back popped satisfyingly after a particularly good stretch and his neck cracked pleasingly. Sharpness chose to leave his helmet where it rested on the armor stand across from him as he brushed his fingers through his long, tangled locks. Rubbing his eyes once more, he exited Jude's room, his boots echoing throughout his base as he quickly worked towards the stairs to his right. It was much easier to find them than it was to find his boots, with moonlight filtering in through the open entrance, and stars making themselves visible from where he stood.

Hurrying up the stairs, Sharpness had tripped by accident when his foot missed the next step, causing him to topple forward with an "oof". His hands attempted to grab for something, but instead, he had to make the split second decision to brace them on the edge of a step to catch himself when he was unable to grasp onto anything. He'd have to reprimand Jude over his lack of hand rails another day. Pushing himself back onto his feet, Sharpness continued up the stairs, but at a much slower and careful pace.

Quartz stairs eventually stopped at soft, green grass, and to his left, the large skyscraper of SomethingBlue's base immediately caught his eye. It was the only place with lights still fully on at the hour and with evidence of people slumped around. He began jogging closer, and upon closer inspection, he wasn't surprised to see empty bottles strewn about the kitchen tables with many of which being half or a quarter full at most. He ran past the street lights and benches from outside of the pathway leading to Blue's base, choosing to run on the grass for most of the jog there.

Once he got closer to the entrance of the blue skyscraper, he slowed his jog down to a brisk walk, wincing at the strong smell of booze and at the sight of drunk people. Loppezz was on the Quartz ground, face down, snoozing with her hand clutching an empty bottle, and Godis and Bitzel were absentmindedly twirling and sloshing around a half empty glass of alcohol on one of the kitchen tables as they watched mesmerized. On the large staircase on the other half of the first floor sat Parker, fumbling around with his communicator but doing nothing in particular with it. Surprisingly, Blue was nowhere to be seen, presumably somewhere else in his base.

Personally, Sharpness didn't like drinking. He didn't like the way it made you vulnerable and incoherent, as well as loose with your actions and thoughts. He couldn't possibly ever get addicted to something like it either because even the taste of it would deter him away. But as evidently shown, there was a lot of people who would disagree with him, seeing as there were a number of people around him with too much of it in their systems in order for it to be anywhere near healthy.

And with how intoxicated everyone looked, it was an absolute miracle that Flanke was somehow sober enough to use his communicator to call and message him. He didn't know many people who could possibly achieve what he had done. And what was even more unbelievable to him was that Flanke somehow managed to type coherently, which could've easily fooled Sharpness into believing that he was a sober man.

Upon walking through the entrance, Flanke immediately lit up and waved at him frantically. He was sat on a birch bench against the bright blue wall dividing the kitchen from the staircase, with an embarrassingly drunk Jude clinging to his legs on the ground. Sharpness's face scrunched up in pity for both Flanke and Jude.

No one else but Flanke seemed to notice him as he stalked towards him and Jude, unaware of their surroundings and the presence of someone else. He walked by Parker, then past Godis and Bitzel, and it was like he was nonexistent to all of them. Sharpness stopped before Flanke and Jude and crossed his arms in lieu of disappointment. He tried to conjure up ideas to get him back in bed safely without having to carry him like dead weight, but his brain came up empty seeing as Jude laid clinging helplessly onto Flanke.

The sight made an uneasy pit swirl in his stomach and his face contort into a frown, although he had no good reason to be feeling that way.

"Sharpness he won't… he won't let go of me," Flanke complained, and Sharpness was extremely tempted to run a hand over face and groan dramatically. "Please help me."

"So you didn't stop spamming my messages to—what? Make me deal with Jude?"

Flanke hummed in thought, although the answer was painfully obvious and clear. "Yes…?" He said nervously, but there wasn't any true nervousness on his face when he held a cheeky grin that practically stretched from ear to ear.

Sharpness glared at him, "Why me of all people?"

There was a long, drawn out pause between them, and Sharpness was almost sure that Flanke did not hear him. There was also a solid chance that he simply chose not to hear him, too.

"Okay—but dude, I don't—I don't know why…" Flanke hadn't answered his question, his thoughts instead seemingly trailing off in tandem with his words. Sharpness only sighed and crouched down on his knees to meet somewhere closer to Jude's level on the ground, ignoring Flanke as he attempted to pry Jude's hands away from Flanke's legs. But the rabbit only let out a stubborn growl, and Sharpness could only look the slightest bit sympathetic for the three of them.

"…I don't know why he won't let go of me," and Flanke frowned with a sad look on his face. It was extremely uncharacteristic of him to behave that way, but supposedly, that was what alcohol does to people. Not one person in this room was rational—besides him—and it was a shame to have to be around all of them. "It's fine—just—don't move, I got it," Sharpness replied with a disbelieving shake of his head.

He wanted to get a good look at Jude's face, so he cupped his chin with one hand and the top of his head with another, and forced Jude to meet his eye. Jude let out a whiny "Hey…", but nonetheless, his head still followed willingly. Upon recognizing him, Sharpness could see the way Jude's eyes widened and the blush on his cheeks deepen—though, he wasn't sure how far the recognition went because Jude stared up at him with sparkles in his eyes and lips parted in a silent gasp.

Jude didn't hesitate to finally let go of a hand from Flanke's ankle to brush a hand through his dark hair. He attempted to grin at Sharpness, but it came off lopsided and uncoordinated. "Hey pretty lady," he drawled, and Sharpness was about to drop his head back onto the floor as his cheeks began to creep with warmth. Flanke let out a relieved sigh upon one of his legs being freed, unaware of how Sharpness was a moments notice away from slaughtering everyone in the room along with himself. At least his suspicions have been confirmed true, though.

"Jude—I'm not—I'm not a woman."

"But why not? you have such… pretty, long hair."

I'm too sober for this, Sharpness said to himself.

Jude continued to babble enthusiastically as Sharpness leaned over to hook an arm over his shoulder. "You're just my type y'know—hic—can we please go on a date together?" Jude pleaded, but Sharpness only huffed out a "No," before planting a foot on the ground and bringing Jude up with him. "Where are we going…" he whined, and Sharpness instead tried to hide the fact that his knees were moments away from giving out. He glanced back at Flanke, but the man was already slumped against the blue wall, with his eyes shut and his breathing steady.

Sharpness felt his heart begin to beat uncomfortably when he paused to really look at Flanke as he slept.

Flanke had blond hair, which was more golden compared to his own wheat colored hair, and despite wearing a pumpkin mask over his face, Sharpness remembered seeing that he had green eyes. It began to make more sense to him as to why Jude clung so desperately to him and refused to let go. Especially now, with Jude mumbling sweet nothings into his shoulder. But what didn't make sense to him was the why factor. Was it that he was simply attracted to blondes with green eyes, or did it have something to do with him?

But with Jude twirling and petting at his long, blond hair, he most likely still thought Sharpness was some handsome lady, which made him rule out the latter. He felt a bit of relief upon that, because he wasn't sure how he could possibly deal with him being Jude's ideal type. So he instead shoved away the mess of emotions he was feeling in favor of returning his attention back to the present, where he had a man to drag back into bed.

Sharpness slid a hand around Jude's waist, securing him against his body. He allowed for Jude to rest his entire weight onto his side as he guided them to turn around and head towards the exit. Sparing a glance at Godis and Bitzel, it seemed as if they had fallen asleep too, with their faces resting on their forearms.

"Hey… I asked you a question," Jude quietly mouthed against his neck as he tripped over his own feet. Sharpness ignored him, instead focusing on making sure that they wouldn't fall over and eat shit. "'S rude to ignore me. Are you taking me to yours? We haven't even… we haven't even eaten dinner together."

Sharpness risked a glance over to Jude, and the sight nearly made his breath stutter. Jude blinked up at him with his cheek smashed against his shoulder as if he were physically and sentimentally melting against him, staring at him with eyes full of want. They gazed up at him longingly as if he had hung the stars and moon by hand, one by one. Like he was a proper god, or to Jude's point of view, a goddess, who had shaped the world to perfection just for him.

"I—no, not quite," Sharpness replied after realizing that Jude had been waiting for a response. "—And, do you always talk this much when you're drunk?"

The corners of Jude's lips ticked down and his eyebrows knitted together in a frown, and for a moment, Sharpness was almost convinced that he'd genuinely been hurt. "Um… why not? Am I not cute enough?"

By now, they managed to stagger to the entrance of Blue's base, and Sharpness turned around to see that Parker had disappeared from the staircase. It was likely that he had either tried to find his way back home, or he had wandered off into the rest of the base. But either way, Sharpness couldn't care less as he flicked the main light switch down, plunging the room into complete darkness.

"Would it make you happy again if I said that you were?"

Jude immediately perked up at that, and if he had a dog's tail, Sharpness could imagine that it would be wagging at speeds high enough to send him propelling into the dark sky.

"Yes…"

"So then no, you're not very cute," and Sharpness stifled a snort, already anticipating Jude's reaction.

It came just as he had expected. Jude sank further into his side, and Sharpness couldn't be so sure of what he was trying to do, but it almost seemed as if he was pretending to faint.

"Ugh…" Jude groaned, refusing to move his legs. "My kidnapper is so mean to me—and I don't even know her name!"

Because he refused to move, Sharpness couldn't either, so they ended up standing beside a lamppost in the middle of the pathway. "Jude, for the last time, I'm not a woman—and you know who I am."

He grabbed Jude's chin with the hand that wasn't curled around his waist and forced him to look directly at him. "Jude—look at me." The rabbit struggled for a moment, before complying with a huff. He squinted up at Sharpness, and the swordsman just stood there patiently watching the gears turn and shift around in Jude's wasted brain.

"Oh," Jude said, as if it was the only thing he knew how to say at that moment, "…hey Sharpness?"

Sharpness released his chin, letting his head dangle without any support. Jude was quick to lean his head back into the crook of his neck, though, unashamedly snuggling closer even after truly recognizing him. He let out a defeated sigh as he mentally cursed everything that had to go wrong in order for things to end up the way they did.

"Come on—let's—let's keep walking, Jude."

Sharpness tried to coax him back into moving, but the most he was able to successfully do was make Jude drag his feet along with him.

"Hic—but I don't want to move, I'm so tired," he whined.

Imagine how I feel, Sharpness thought to himself. Somewhere in the distance, he heard a wild wolfs howl echo throughout the forest across the river, and Jude shuddered uncomfortably, attempting to melt himself closer into Sharpness.

"Not a fan of wild dogs?" he asked teasingly, but it was then that he decided to make a decision. Sharpness lowered himself just a little and hooked his free arm under Jude's knee and picked him off the ground and up into his arms. The rabbit was quite heavy, sure, but Sharpness managed it with a grunt, carrying him bridal style. He finally had a reason to thank all of his hard work for earning him a solid mass of muscle. Jude let out a yelp and clung to his neck, but he otherwise didn't complain about the new position.

Sharpness smiled at Jude condescendingly, before beginning to walk the path back to Jude's base. "Is this better, princess? Since you're too delicate to walk on your own?"

If Jude's cheeks had been pink from the alcohol earlier, he was now impossibly red. His mouth opened and closed as if he wanted to say something but simply couldn't get the words out of his throat. The sight made Sharpness close his eyes and giggle to himself, and at the same time, he felt Jude's hand swat at his cheek in embarrassment. The fierceness of the attack made him pause, for it hinted at a sense of sobriety. But Sharpness continued walking for a little more and they both willingly stayed quiet. The silence was very unlike the Jude he knew only minutes ago, but he wasn't complaining about it now that he'd found a way to shut him up.

"Hey… Sharpness?"

"Hm?"

"Look, do you… do you see that bright star up there?"

Sharpness paused, his head following the general direction of where Jude's finger was pointing, but he didn't know what to look for. To him, they all looked the same, they were all bright and beautiful and so, so far away.

"No Jude, I don't."

The rabbit rolled his eyes and whined, "Well—look harder! It's north, the north star."

Sharpness looked north, which was more to his left, on the opposite end of where he was looking, and there it was, a star brighter than the ones surrounding it. "Oh, I think I see it now."

"Yeah, there are other stars that…" Jude yawned, interrupting himself, "…that connect to it. It's supposed to be the handle of the little dipper. Do you see them?"

His eyes tried to find this "handle" that he was referring to, and he thought he had found a few stars that could connect into one, but he couldn't be so sure. Regardless, Sharpness hummed out loud, pretending he knew what to look for and that he'd found it.

The man in his arms continued with a quiet voice that could nearly be considered a whisper, "And there's another one right next to it, the same shape but bigger. That's the big dipper."

The Big Dipper and Little Dipper. Such silly names for a silly group of stars. He tried to find the big dipper, but Sharpness understood that perhaps he was just terrible at finding and connecting constellations. "I think I found it," he lied, but when he wasn't given a response, he looked down to see that Jude's eyes were already shut. Looking at his lax, sleeping form, Sharpness caressed his waist for a moment, before tearing his eyes away and continuing on the path back to Jude's base.

It was much easier and quicker to maneuver without a drunken man slowing him down, but he suddenly didn't like the silence. It was weird how he once wanted the chatter to end, was grateful for it even, but now? The silence was quickly becoming overbearing. He passed by another two lampposts and a bench, before turning right and heading for the entrance to Jude's base. But before he began stepping down the staircase leading to the underground atrium, Sharpness turned around, looking north at the night sky. He studied the stars without the pressure of having to immediately find the constellations in record time.

And there it was. He tried his best to draw imaginary lines from the brightest star to the next, and he managed to make a spoon shape starting from the north star. That must've been the little dipper, if he recalled correctly. Sharpness then tried to find the big dipper, and he wasn't sure about which direction next to the little dipper it was on, but he attempted to search for the stars that stuck out the most.

He was able to connect the scoop of the big dipper before his attention was stolen away by Jude's soft snoring. With an amused smile forming on his face, Sharpness turned back around, beginning to make his way inside Jude's base. The clicks of his boots echoed throughout the hallway of the staircase as he carefully went down one-by-one, cautious enough to not jostle the sleeping man in his arms.

Once his feet met the quartz floor of his base, Sharpness gently carried Jude, walking across the other end of the atrium at an angle which would take him to the room nestled in the farthest top left corner. The bed was still messy from his own sleep almost an hour ago, with the white blanket kissing the acacia floor, and the pillow still dented from his head. With a considerate amount of carefulness, Sharpness lowered Jude onto the bed and settled him down comfortably, sliding his netherite boots off his feet and settling then down neatly beside the bed, before draping the plush blanket over his body.

He turned around and decided that he'd go spend the night somewhere else. Perhaps Twirps wouldn't bat an eye if he crashed on the floor, or Sword wouldn't mind if he woke up to Sharpness on the couch, but his thoughts were cut short when he was only able to make it to the doorway before a hand shot out and grabbed onto his wrist, freezing him in place.

"Where are you going?" Jude whispered to him. Sharpness turned around, seeing the rabbit blink up at him almost sadly.

"I was—I don't know, I didn't think you'd want me in your bed while you're drunk," Sharpness stammered.

Jude sighed, "That's… nonsense, stay here." He kept tugging on his wrist, pulling him towards the bed. Sharpness went willingly, but he had to shake Jude's hand off his wrist in order for him to be able to take his armor off. It was something unspoken since their new arrangement; that Sharpness could sleep in his bed without the comfort of his armor, so as long as Jude was beside him. He unclasped the bindings to his netherite chest plate and shrugged it off, walking over to the armor stand to hang it up. His boots followed suit, neatly sat under the armor stand, before he slid his leggings off to hang them on the lower half of the stand. He was left in his under clothing: a skin-tight black long sleeve, socks, and his briefs.

His gloves were the last to go. Sharpness hastily undid the velcro straps on each glove that bound them to his wrists, the sound harsh and abrasive. He tossed them beside his boots, before turning around and walking towards the bed.

"Can you make some room for me?" Sharpness asked, and Jude scooted closer to the outer edge of the bed. With one knee on the edge of the white mattress, Sharpness climbed over Jude, before slotting himself against him and the cold wall. He then threw a leg over the other man, wrapping an arm over his waist, before nuzzling into the crook of Jude's neck, sighing contently against the source of his heady scent. Unfortunately, it was tainted with a bit of booze, but Sharpness still thoroughly enjoyed his natural scent beneath it all.

He was sure that Jude had completely fallen asleep when his breathing had evened out. He then followed suit, shutting his eyes and allowing his brain to play soft and silly dreams beneath his eyelids, in which he'd forget about by the time he wakes up.

The sound of the toilet flushing echoed in the bathroom, and Sharpness shouted a "Come in!" before Jude barged through the door. Sharpness turned on the sink and pumped soap into his hands, lathering it over his fair skin, before rinsing it off under the warm water until all of the suds swirled down the drain. Beside him, Jude was coughing and vomiting into the toilet bowl, pitifully.

"You know, drinking is bad for you. It's not worth it," Sharpness commented as he dried his hands on the light blue towel hung by the wall, but it went ignored when Jude flushed the toilet instead. He reached for his red toothbrush and pumped a healthy amount of toothpaste onto the white bristles as Jude heaved over the toilet again.

He turned on the sink for a moment to dip his toothbrush under the water before beginning to brush his teeth. The toilet flushed again, and through his peripheral vision, Sharpness saw Jude wipe his mouth with the back of his hand before standing up to walk to the sink. He stepped to the side to make room for Jude, and he was repaid with a mean glare from the rabbit. Sharpness only shrugged and continued brushing his teeth.

Through the mirror, Sharpness could see the adorable furrow in Jude's brows, most likely caused by a headache or migraine. "Do you have any idea where Parker is?" Jude asked, but Sharpness shook his head no as he leaned over to spit his toothpaste out in the sink while putting his toothbrush back in its cup.

"I don't know, he kinda disappeared last night. He's probably at his new kingdom though."

Sharpness reached for the bottle of mouth wash and poured some in the cap before tilting the cap into his mouth. The sink was running with Jude leaning over to splash water over his mouth and face, making a mess of the countertop, but Sharpness chose not to mention it as he swished the mouthwash around in his mouth.

"Yeah, maybe. I kinda forgot that we're not roommates anymore," Jude admitted.

When the minty flavor of the mouthwash began stinging too unpleasantly, Sharpness gently nudged Jude, and he stepped away in order for Sharpness to spit the mouthwash out. He splashed some water over the foamy-green liquid to coax it down the drain. After, Sharpness dried his hands using the blue towel before walking out of the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.

The bathroom was only recently constructed, adjacent to the small bedroom where Jude's broken trap once sat collecting dust. It was a good investment because the old bathroom was too inconvenient and cluttered. Next time, he'd eventually bother Jude into remodeling his bedroom, making it nicer, and maybe if he was in a good mood, Sharpness would also request he get a bigger bed. And as he picked his armor off of the stand, he might as well also ask for a proper wardrobe, too.

The bathroom door opened as Sharpness began slipping his armor on, with Jude walking out and turning the lights off behind him. His socked feet slotted into his boots as Sharpness reached down to pick up his gloves, unstrapping the velcro and sliding his hands into the worn leather interior, before securing it tightly over his wrists. He chose to leave his helmet on the stand for later.

"Jude, can you do my hair for me really fast?"

Jude sighed with a decline ready on the tip of his tongue, but it wasn't like he had anything better to do. So, although reluctantly, he decided to comply.

"Fine," He sat on the bed, and Sharpness followed, but only to plant himself on the floor between his legs. "Do you have a comb?"

Sharpness handed him his comb, and Jude began carefully brushing his long hair to get rid of any tangled strands.

"You get really chatty when you're drunk, by the way," Sharpness blurted out, and behind him, he heard Jude let out a tired sigh.

"I hardly even remember a thing about last night."

Sharpness's heart kept doing something weird in his chest despite there being nothing adrenaline inducing happening. It beat faster whenever Jude would run his fingers through his long hair, and whenever he thought about the events from last night. The words, the stars, and the close, physical proximity between them. At an accidental, harsh tug to his hair, Jude apologized with a few soft strokes against his scalp. The considerate action didn't help his problem one bit.

"Well—is it true that you're into blondes?" Sharpness asked, and he wanted to take it back as soon as Jude's hands paused in their brushing.

"Christ—" He sighed, "how much did I say last night?"

"W—"

"Don't answer that," Jude quickly interrupted. "I'm gonna braid your hair, okay?"

"French?" Sharpness asked softly. He spared a glance to the aquarium across from Jude's bedroom, quietly watching the fish swim by. It was much more different to see them when the sunlight hit their scales rather than the moonlight and Sharpness was, concededly, interested in the science behind why. There was a lot of things that stretched beyond his curiosity as well, far more complex than what his brain could manage, and it made him only wish to be a more articulate man.

Jude began sectioning the top layer of his hair off and splitting it into thirds, "Sure, whatever you want," he murmured.

The quiet intimacy of Jude doing his hair made his cheeks flush with warmth. Matter of fact, the domesticity of their entire morning was making him feel weird inside. From the moment they woke up entangled in each other's arms to the moment they placed their toothbrushes beside one another, Sharpness wanted a clear answer as to why it all felt so natural yet so complicated. Whenever he's around Jude it always happened to feel like something was wrong with him.

"Sharp, how do you get your hair to be so soft and silky?" Jude asked, disrupting his train of thought.

He tried to think over the question, but he was honestly unsure of how to answer. There was too much running through his head at once and it suddenly became difficult to answer a simple question. "I um—I actually don't know… genetics maybe?"

Jude chuckled, "Geez, I wish I had your genes then."

"Let's not."

Jude continued to feed chunks of hair into each strand, tightening them to ensure that the braid would stay put throughout the entire day. Sharpness hadn't had a clue about where Jude managed to learn how to do hair because he knew for a fact that he had no sisters, but he chose not to ask because he was sure that if he knew, he wouldn't like the answer. The prospect of Jude knowing how to do hair because of a past girlfriend, for example, made him feel uneasy. But it wasn't any of his business, so he gratefully took what he got.

Calloused fingers gently brushed against his ear, and Sharpness nearly shivered upon the faint, accidental contact. He could feel that Jude was nearing towards the end of the braid when he no longer needed to add chunks, but for some reason, he didn't want to leave his spot on the floor. He didn't want Jude's hands to leave his hair and he didn't want to part ways with him just yet.

So when Jude reached a hand out to ask for a hair tie, Sharpness hesitantly handed him the one in his clenched fist. He tied the black hair tie around the tail of his braid and finished with a snap.

"There, what do you think, Sharpness?"

He reached a hand over to gently touch at the back of his head, but he didn't tell Jude that he couldn't feel anything through his gloves.

"It's good, thank you," Sharpness replied.

Standing up, Sharpness brushed some of his baby hairs and the short strands of his bangs and face framing layers back into his face, before picking his helmet up off of the armor stand; carefully fitting the netherite over his head without jostling his hair. Turning around, Jude's eyes had been trailing across his broad form, and his cheeks were flushed pink. Walking to the doorframe, Sharpness paused, before turning around to face Jude one last time.

"I'll catch you later, yeah? And take it easy on your hangover."

Jude: oh haha where is this pretty girl taking me???? she kinda reminds me of someone i know
Sharpness: for the last time, i am NOT a girl

honestly, after watching jude and sharp’s streams and videos for some time, i can unconfidently say that jude likes to drink and sharpness doesn’t. i mean… have y’all seen that one clip of jude going crazy over buzzballs😭💔 and i’m pretty sure someone in sharp’s chat once asked/said something about alcohol and sharpness replied, “no, drinking is bad for you” or something like that.

so i was therefore struck with thoughts of jude getting absolutely wasted and sharpness having to be the one to come and save him. thankfully flanke was sober enough for the sharplow plot. (also, i absolutely dont write rpf as in the real-person-fantasy kind, but i’m not sure how much of their actual personalities and traits i can translate into their minecraft personas before it becomes weird. i’ve said this before but it’s a little tedious to keep the characters in character without being too in character yk)

i already yapped too much and by now it should be obvious as to why i made my notes a drop down menu. but like i am still working on a longer one-shot—because that’s all i ever write—as promised, this one was just to keep me motivated and to get the brain worms out of my head

anyways i love my yaoi full of emotionally stunted men who are secretly struggling with internalized homophobia(happy pride month btw guys) and they just don’t know it yet. captain crenshaw OUT😹✌️
-that was supposed to be a tai reference so don’t take it too seriously because idk who the fuck captain crenshaw is

(have a good day or night and thank you for reading!! kis kis)
