Summary
Ilya came to with no memory of the past month, rushing at his own slumped figure only to pass through like smoke. As he watched himself sit up, there were only two things he could be sure of:
One, he was outside of his body with no way back.
Two, the body in question was still very much alive, and someone or something had taken the wheel in his place.
Before he could even try to make sense of the revelation, he was overwhelmed with a certainty that if he stuck around for much longer, something irreversible would happen. He fled. Straight through thick stone walls and heavy oak doors, down dirt roads and across remote woods and rural expanses, following no direction except away.
OR: Boston Raiders centre Ilya Rozanov is kidnapped by a mysterious occult syndicate who eject his soul from his body and replace it with god-knows-what. Disembodied and invisible, he has to find a willing host to help him return before it's too late.
