Summary
Blitz makes a terrible choice in the aftermath of losing Stolas — one that nearly costs him his life.
When he wakes in the Goetia palace, wrapped head‑to‑toe in bandages and under Stolas’s frantic care, he can’t bring himself to speak, let alone explain what really happened. Stolas believes Blitz was attacked. Blitz knows the truth is so much worse.
As guilt, grief, and misunderstanding spiral between them, an unexpected visitor forces the truth into the open — and Stolas is left with one question: Why?A story about breaking, surviving, and learning that your life matters to someone, even when you can’t see it yourself.
