It was evening that day. Nagisa was ill that day, so it was just Motoha, Shun, and Riko who were at the moving train.
Nagisa was sick that day, so they decided to buy a few things for him in Shibuya.
They bumped into Shoki and Aran, the three explaining why Nagisa and Lufel weren't with them.
"You know, Nagisa looked down lately..." Shun noticed. Recalling how he didn't eat a single food back at their hangout at victory kitchen a week earlier.
"Yeah, he hasn't spoken to us in so many days..." Motoha adds, worried. "He... hasn't been eating well lately, according to Lufel..." She shakes her head. "You'd think he lost his appetite, but I don't think what he's doing is healthy or like him..."
"That is true..." Riko admits. "For a while, he seems to keep his distance. He said it was because he wanted to remember something, but..."
"Um..." Aran mutters.
"Is there something you want to say, Aran?" Shoki asks, noticing her hesitance.
"Well... I wasn't sure if I should mention it at first, but..." She looks towards the entrance where they'd usually enter Mementos. "I think he's been entering Mementos by himself lately..."
This alarms everyone.
"Wait, Nagisa went by himself?!" Shun was taken aback.
"That doesn't sound like him..." Riko says, shaking her head.
"We all know he's been hard on himself ever since Shimotsuna, but..." Shoki was also equally concerned.
Then, their phone vibrated. Curious, they checked their phones, their eyes widening, upon seeing the metanav glitching before it changed into a dark ocean blue color, the eyeball surrounded by seaweeds.
"What is-?" Then the world started to pause. People stopped moving, as if time had paused. Animals were frozen. Even the bird was frozen mid air.
"W-whaaaat?!" Motoha was startled.
"Cosa... What is this...?" Shoki reacted more calmly. Let's be real, they encountered a lot of weird things lately.
Then, they felt an overwhelming feeling. The next thing they knew, Shibuya's surroundings changed, the feeling that they were underwater, seaweeds covering the buildings.
"This is..."
Something was wrong.
VERY WRONG!

"EEEH?! WHAT IS THIS?!" Runa, a friend and Shichi-kun fan, looked at the surroundings with shock and confusion. One moment, she went shopping for dinner, the next thing she knew, she witnessed people stop moving, everything changed to an underwater serene, the building covered in seaweed.
"Hello? HELLO!!" She tries to call out. "Why is everyone stop moving?"
She tries to catch the people's attention, but to no avail, no one was moving.
She started tearing up. What is she going to do? What if she's all alone with people not moving. What... What if-
"What is this?"
She turned, spotting a white-haired girl with blue eyes, also startled.
"This is..."
"E-excuse me..." Runa approaches her.
"Huh?" The white-haired girl was shocked. "You can move too?"
There was a short silence. Before Runa burst into tears.
"I'm not alone! Oh, thank goodness!!!"
"C-calm down!" the white-haired girl tries to calm her down.
A minute later, after Runa calms down, she finally asks the girl's name.
"Sorry... I thought I was going to wander in this strange Shibuya all by myself..."
The white-haired girl shakes her head but smiles. "Hey, it's okay. I'd hate the idea of going through this by myself." She then asks. "By the way, what's your name?"
"I'm Runa Dogenzaka by the way..." Runa introduces herself. "But Runa is alright. Who are you?"
"My name is Kotone." Kotone introduces herself.
"Kotone..." Runa's eyes then widened, shocked. "EEEEH?! I'VE SEEN YOU ONLINE BEFORE! You're that ice skater, right?"
"Um..."
"O-oh! Sorry about that." Runa apologizes. "Um... Do you have any idea what's happening?" Runa asks. Confused.
Kotone shakes her head. "Sorry. I'm just as lost as you are.
"Figures..." Runa says a bit disappointed, but understanding.
"Do I need to be tested for drugs?"
They heard an older male voice and turn to spot a man wearing a white lab coat.
He turns, spotting the two, almost surprised.
"So... am I not high on drugs?" The man, likely a doctor says, a bit puzzled.
"You're not on drugs, Mister..."
"Kitazato." He introduces himself. "So we're all experiencing at once..."
"This is very real." Kotone says, serious. "There's no way we're all having the same hallucination..."
Just what is this?
