Chapter Text
At first, static.
It filled Liam's head, dancing, swimming between an array of moments.
Then, a room.
It was everywhere. The static rushed out to fill the space. Eventually, Liam could see, but his eyes found nothing to latch onto. His thoughts continued to shift, swirl, spiral.
Then, the radio.
It sat upon a table. A figure sat to the right of it, a chair to the left was left vacant. Liam sat on it. He did not feel it physically, but it was a comforting presence. It felt right. His mind latched onto it—a chair that was not empty anymore.
Then, an empty chair.
