Chapter Text
Lloyd always has loved pranks, except when it was him getting pranked(which thankfully hasn’t happened in over a year), so when he got fresh meat he was overjoyed. He couldn’t wait to prank them, so as soon as his uncle left the room he got to planing.
Late at night, when the only noise was the bounty creaking Lloyd made his first move. Lloyd sneaked to his uncle’s room, glancing twice before making his move. He saw Wu writing in a book earlier when he was passing by. He might have of watched Wu put it away before he skittered away.
Lloyd sneaked around Wu’s room before finding the drawer and opening it as quietly as one could manage. Once he found the book he immediately closed the drawer and left as quietly as he had earlier.
Lloyd walks back to his room and hides Wu’s book in a plank under his futon. Lloyd lays back in his futon and slowly doses off to sleep.
-
The morning was going good. Lloyd spent hours beating Kai’s high score as he and the others was training, he then put some spices to Cole’s violet berry soup, not before getting a taste of it first, then messed with Jay’s training robot, and finally put some pink dye and Kai’s gi in Zane’s whites, probably his favorite prank yet.
Lloyd was enjoying himself especially when the ninja started to fight over some false rumors. It was hilarious, when until that stupid red ninja just had to call him out on taking his uncle’s lesson book.
“It was the perfect plan until you have to show up and mess everything up-” Cole closed the door on Lloyd as he started ranting. Now that got him very angry, they just can’t let him have any fun! He would’ve gave it back! Just under the guise that he found it not stole it! Couldn’t even let him finish his sentence without muffling him out. God did he hate being on this forsaken ship.
-
Lloyd was in his room, staring up at the wooden ceiling. The same curls of the wood that looked like an eye, creeped him out some times. With the ninja gone to find the tombs only Lloyd and Nya were left on the ship. Wu left to go see if he can find another way to stop Pythor.
Nya might as well have been gone also, she wasn’t even watching him she is just under the deck! He was basically alone, which thankfully he was used to, couldn’t survive if he was constantly with someone else for the year he was homeless.
Despite that he still hated being alone. It felt weird, he has only been on the ship for less than a full 24 hours, Lloyd couldn’t wrap his head around it. Just a few weeks ago, before the whole releasing the Serpentine, he was just fine by himself but now he was actually scared of them kicking him back out to the streets.
It was a feeling he couldn’t shake, yes he did love to prank them but Lloyd wasn’t stupid, doing more pranks would push them more away. They hate him and the more pranks he does the more they will hate him and the more that they hate him is more of a chance they will convince his uncle to kick him out. Lloyd scratched his wrist to get at least some of the yucky feelings away. That too being a thing he couldn’t shake.
Lloyd dug his nail — it was more of a claw if anything — a bit too deep into his skin, the warm red liquid started to seep out. Ew, was all Lloyd could think.
He sat up as he watch his blood drip down his wrist down to his hoodie’s sleeve. Lloyd moves the sleeve back to its original place and applied pressure on the wound. It tinged with pain, much more than he was used to.
He thought if he should go to Nya, however if he did then she would ask how he got it and about the other scratches, so scratch that. Lloyd looked around for something else to clean up the cut, but after a few glances around his make-shape room he only landed on the long sleeve white shirt on the floor.
Lloyd’s nose scrunched up at the thought of having dried blood on his sleeve. He couldn’t even change out of it and wash it until his uncle came home either.
However, Nya was there. Maybe, just maybe, he could put on the white shirt and go down to Nya and ask her to clean it. Yes! It was perfect!
Changing out of his hoodie with a cut on his wrist was hurtful to stay the least, but hey at least he can get it cleaned. Lloyd jumped off the last step — how he hated how short he was, not tall enough to strike fear into people. He walked over to Nya and decided on a simple “Clean my hoodie, now.”
Nya seemed to have jump slightly at the sound of the kid’s voice, Lloyd would have of laughed maniacally if he wasn’t on a serious mission.
“I’m sorry, could you repeat that?” Nya pulled a cover over the machine she was working on and turned her body fully to Lloyd.
“Clean. My. Hoodie. Now.” Lloyd paused after every word, something his teachers would do on him when he would ask “stupid” questions.
Nya seemed to be as annoyed as he was it was used on him.
“Ask nicely and I will.”
Lloyd looked at her like she just grew another pair of arms. No way she was asking the Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon, to “ask nicely”? To say please? Lloyd himself didn’t even know if that was in his vocabulary.
“No, just do it! Uncle does it when I tell him too!” Lloyd yelled right into her face which Nya didn’t so kindly to.
Lloyd flinched when she stood and folded her arms together.
“Ask.” Her voice was one filled with annoyance and anger. Lloyd stepped back a little, girl was tall for her age.
“No just do it!” Lloyd couldn’t care less if he was angering her, kid just wanted his hoodie cleaned.
Nya reached down to Lloyd’s arm and grabbed it, tightly. Lloyd tried to pull away but Nya was strong, much stronger than him. He had expected Nya to continue walking but she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes starring holes at where she was holding his arm, Lloyd matched her gaze and saw the blood already staining the white shirt.
-
Wearing a white shirt with a cut is probably the worse idea Lloyd has ever had.
Nya thankfully didn’t ask how he got it or about the other scars on his arms. She just patched them up and went to wash his hoodie about an hour ago. Nya telling the ninja was the last thing one his mind, but if she told his uncle.
Lloyd didn’t want to think about it. He could deal with the ninja calling him weak but, his uncle that made his stomach turn.
The ninja had already came back, with a high Kai that he found funny. Zane was making supper. He knew that they would come get him. He didn’t want to attend but Lloyd knows better.
They would call him many more names — well they haven’t called him any name besides his name, but the kids at Darkley’s did. They will soon follow they just need materials.
Zane finished with supper and got Lloyd. He was now sitting and not really eating just sitting there. Lloyd was quiet, waiting for Nya to start telling the guys how weak he is.
But it almost never came. He thought he could get out of them knowing what he did before,
“So Nya what did you and Lloyd did while we were gone?” Zane looked over to Nya who was taking a sip of her drink. Lloyd dreaded that question, now everyone would have a turn telling jokes about him.
“Oh you know, the usual. Scared me when he was sneaking around.” She huffed out a laugh when she finished talking which everyone but Kai joined in on.
Lloyd let out a breath of relief, he was thankfully saved from an bullying session with them, didn’t think he could keep it together with all of them there.
Lloyd looked down at the food presented for him. He didn’t even take a bite however he could tell that he wouldn’t be able to keep it down. He took a glance before slipping out of his seat, taking his plate and throwing the food out. He did feel slightly bad but it was fine, they wouldn’t care.
Lloyd sat down on his futon, looking at the now bandaged wrist, it felt like it was all healing amazingly. Lloyd laid down, closed his eyes hopping to catch a glimpse of sleep.
