Gabriel was meeting with Tomoe about creating the Alliance rings.
“So,” Tomoe said, “I understand that you lost the Rabbit Miraculous.”
“It was Ladybug’s fault!”
Tomoe raised an eyebrow.
“Ahem, yes. Yes, I did.”
“And Ladybug gave it to Bunnyx.”
“Yes, but I have a plan.”
“Oh?”
“I’m going to kidnap her family and threaten them to force Bunnyx to surrender her Miraculous.”
“...the time traveller?”
“Yes.”
“Who can retaliate in an infinite number of ways?”
“Which is why I will strike quickly.”
“But–”
Gabriel got up before she could point out the problem with that logic.
Tomoe sighed, “This is going to happen a lot, isn’t it?”
Monarch used a portal to break into the Kubdel’s home during the night.
He was about to head for the bedrooms when he felt a hit on the back of his head.
“Aaaahh!”
“Oh, that’s just the beginning of the pain, Gabby,” twenty-five-year-old Bunny’s voice called out from the dark.
“Don’t call me Gabby! And I recall it not going well for you the last time we fought.”
“Ah, but this time things are different. That was always going to happen; I just didn’t know how because my fifteen-year-old-self didn’t see it, but this… this is my script.”
“I still have more Miraculous than you.”
“Do you?”
“Clout!”
“Voyage!”
A portal opened in front of Monarch, and he felt pain in his stomach, “Oof!”
“Lightning Dragon!”
A lightning bolt hit him in the back.
Monarch groaned with pain, “How?... How do you have the Miraculous!?”
“Time travel dummy.”
“But who’s using them?”
The lights turned on.
Monarch stared at his assailants.
They were Alix Kubdel. Alix Kubdel of various ages wearing different Miraculous.
“You know, Ladybug has to use the Mouse Miraculous to dilute the effects of using multiple Miraculous to pull this off,” Ladybug Alix (23 years old) said.
“But we have experience with time travel,” Black Cat Alix (22 years old) added.
“Which means we can just give the Miraculous to ourselves,” Tiger Alix (19 years old) said.
“With no side effects to bog us down,” Dragon Alix (27 years old) finished.
Monarch’s eyes widened, “Voyage!”
He jumped through a portal.
“Voyage!” Horse Alix (37 years old) called out and brought Monarch back.
“You’re not getting away that easily,” Horse Alix said.
“Shell-ter!” he surrounded himself with a force field.
“Cataclysm,” Black Cat Alix calmly said and destroyed it.
Monarch prepared to fight, “Clout!”
“Resistance!” Ox Alix (30 years old) took the blow.
Monarch tried again, “Multi–”
“Uproar!” Monkey Alix (29 years old) threw a toy rabbit into his face.
He held up his cane.
“Fetch!” Canigirl (17 years old) stole his cane.
Monarch tried to run through a door–
Slam!
–only to discover it was actually a wall.
“Oops,” Fox Alix (40 years old) mockingly said, “my bad.”
“Gift!” Pig Alix (50 years old) called out.
Gabriel was mesmerised by a picture of being reunited with his wife.
“Lucky Charm!” Ladybug Alix got a baseball bat.
“Nice.” She hit him in the face.
“Aaahhh! How dare–”
He was punched by an invisible Rooster Alix (45 years old)
“You can’t–”
“Genesis!” Goat Alix (60 years old) created a 1000-ton weight, which landed on him.
“Hmmmm!” he grunted underneath before Goat Alix dismissed the weight.
“Shell-ter!” Turtle Alix (30 years old) trapped him in a shield.
“Multitude!” Mouse Alix (16 years old) divided and swarmed into the shell-ter through a portal Horse Alix made.
“Oh! Eh! Ah!” he cried as the tiny(er) Alix’s hit, kicked and bit him.
He was eventually released, and a shadow fell over him.
He looked up to see Peacock Alix (20 years old) riding a giant rabbit Sentibeing.
“Hi,” she waved at him.
“Oh–”
The rabbit jumped on him.
Once the rabbit moved off him, Bee Alix (35 years old) stepped up to him.
“Unfortunately, we can’t take back the Miraculous you’ve stolen, as that would affect the timeline… so we’ll take out our frustration by beating you some more. Venom!”
She paralysed him.
The younger Alixs continued to hit the paralysed Monarch (who could still feel pain) as the older ones watched; this included Snake Alix (70 years old), who had directed the whole thing from her seat.
“This never gets old.”
Monarch was dumped in his lair through a portal.
“Heeeeeeeeee,” he wheezed in pain.
A note had been stuck to his head; it said…
