In the days after the end of Season Four, Paris finds itself under the thumb of Monarch, who now controls all of the Miraculouses from the Miracle Box. Ladybug is MIA, leaving only the unpopular and the butt of all jokes Cat Noir able to fight off the new terror. But with the memories of his mother’s loss arising anew, will he be able to defend Paris all by himself? It’ll take all of his power, friends, allies, and frenemies to defeat Hawk Moth and restore the city.

Summary
At the sight of freckled cheekbones and amber eyes, Charlie is suddenly transported back to over a decade prior. To the first meeting of a boy with a kind smile and sweet disposition in his form.
“Hi,” Charlie had said as he took his newly assigned seat.
“Hi,” the boy said back, a wary look almost passing his features before it quickly transformed into a polite grin.
Charlie never forgot the butterflies that swarmed his stomach that day.
Those same butterflies come storming back now so fiercely that he nearly keels over from the nausea of it. The jolt of panic, fear, and a little bit of something else that he can’t quite name, hitting him all at once.
