What Scott Summers wanted the most was to be perfect. All he ever wanted was to fulfill Charles dream and lead the x men. He wouldn't allow himself to fail, he simply couldn't. He made sure to put his emotions aside because they could distract him and lead to failure. Sure he was called to boring or cold but it didn't bothered him or at least he wanted to think that. But Scott Summers also had a secret, which he needed to hide. Scott was trans, and he felt like he was betraying everyone by not being "normal".So cyclops worked extra hard just to feel equal ,except no matter what he was doing seemed to fill this void in his heart.
