Summary
Once upon a time lycanthropy was a "myth" found almost exclusively in movies. After one wrong freak accident the entire "hybrid" world was revealed. Wolves naturally paved the way as all humanity evolved to change Never once was it limited to werewolves or vampire bats but a myriad of creatures nor their geographical locations. With the limits expanded and food growing scarce laws had to change.
Vessel is simply a victim of circumstance. His entire life since presenting as an Alpha, gaining his antlers he's been hiding a secret. He's not alone in his body.
