Summary
Scar was exhausted, after barely sleeping over the last week to work on the planet and then the bank. So much was left unfinished, some of it not even started. Scar could only hope that if he rested now, maybe he could find the energy to finish at least one thing the next day.
As his rockets fired and he glided over his mountains back to his base, a warm feeling filled his chest. A pull that he couldn’t ignore, tugging at him until he was dipping the wing of his elytra and ducking into the cave entrance to Grian’s place instead.
The wooden planks creaked under his feet, as he snuck through the greenhouse, down the stairs and into Grian’s room.
Grian was already asleep, sighing softly with each exhale. The room was warm, the soft copper lantern above his bed casting the room in a gentle glow that just felt so inviting that Scar couldn’t help but kick his boots off and drop his floppy antennea-ed hat and flight goggles onto the green bed. He was pretty sure the green bed was supposed to be for him, after so many people had joked about Scar’s respawn being in Grian’s bed. None of it mattered now, he was home.A quiet moment between two people who love each other, inbetween the chaos of midseason hermitcraft.
