Her primal senses tugged at her heart. She needed to go see them. She missed them. She needed them. Now. Just one would do. She didn't need much. She just needed one moment together, one moment that would solve how utterly lonely she felt.
She knew what she was. Only one animal could be so pathetically clingy. She would search for the hands that didn't search for her. Roll over and present herself, aching for approval and affection.
