“Shut up ‘n do your homework, why don’t ‘cha?” came Todd’s dry response, though lacking any real heat. It had never escaped Damian’s notice that Todd always seemed to soften slightly in his presence, despite what their commonly exchanged insults might suggest.
“Tt. You’re awfully immature for someone who so often claims not to be a child,” Damian shot back, nose scrunching up as he crossed his arms again in a pose he was aware looked eerily similar to Father’s expression of disappointment. “It should also be noted that it’s much too late to be doing homework, especially considering I’ve finished it all for the week.”
“Yeah, yeah, you’re smart, we get it,” Todd huffed, stuffing another chunk of food into his maw.
"And for the sake of your dignity, Todd, do not speak with food in your mouth."
