What do newlywed couples usually do on their first day together? Well, I don't know, and it seems like Ichika and Shiho don't know either.
Today is the first morning for Ichika and Shiho as a newlywed couple.
Out of exhaustion from the events yesterday, the two girls slept on the couch, tightly clinging onto each other.
Around their shared apartments, gifts are scattered everywhere, from congratulations letters to boxes. A ticking time bomb of soon to be chores they have to clean up.
Ichika is the first to wake up, a sight rare to see that Saki classifies it as a total miracle.
A soft yawn came out from her mouth, as she tried to realize the condition she's in. Soon enough, she fully wakes up from her comfortable slumber.
She soon notices the ring on the finger
“Ah, that's right, we're married now…”
Honestly, she wanted to stay in Shiho’s embrace even longer, but after looking at the time, it's already past their usual breakfast time, and worried Shiho might be hungry.
With a slow and careful move, she removes herself from Shiho’s hands, doing her best efforts to not wake her up.
A soft, small whine came from the girl in gray sleeping on the couch as her human pillow slowly disappeared out of her grasp, and it made her heart skip a beat.
“She's too cute!”
Like any other person, she went to the bathroom to wash her face and freshen up before going to the kitchen to make breakfast before her wife woke up.
It's a bit strange calling Shiho that, honestly, and also unbelievable. She's not used to it yet, but it's their first day, after all. But it's very clear that she's very happy. She hums happily as she prepares and cooks breakfast.
Soon, breakfast is ready. A simple dish of Rice, Miso Pan Grilled Salmon, Miso soup and some side dishes.
Well, someone in particular gave them some high quality Miso paste packs as wedding gifts, so she's just making use of it!
Although breakfast is ready, Shiho is still fast asleep on the couch. Looks like she's incredibly tired, isn't she?
Not wanting for the food to get cold, Ichika walked over to the couch and began to softly shake her wife to wake her up.
“Hey, Shiho…Wake up…”
After a bit of effort, Shiho’s eyes began to stir, and soon enough she woke up from her deep slumber.
The moment Shiho sat up, Ichika’s smile softened even more.
“Good morning”
“...Morning…”
“Breakfast is ready, so hurry up before it gets cold!”
“...You look really happy today, Ichika…”
“O-oh…do I?”
A soft blush appeared on her cheeks, but the two just smiled it off.
Soon, they were already at the dining table. Although the two of them know this is their first morning together as a married couple, everything felt normal. But, it felt comfortable for them.
“Shiho, what do newlywed couples do on their first day together?”
“Huh? i don't know…”
“Should we just go as usual? like…normal…?”
“What does that even mean, Ichika…? but yeah, i would like that…”
