Chapter Text
"Where am I?" Ended up in a plain old room, mediocre chairs and a skeleton marine straight after death, it's a reasonable question.
"Oh, hello. I am vice admiral, or was, vice admiral T-bone, you?"
"... Where Am I"
"...I don't really know, I've been in here for about a few hours, some people came by, I think the warlord Kuma, some strange cyborgs and Vegapunk. There were probably some other people before me but I don't know who, they were all called in too, normal people were just escorted out once they appeared but that's all I know".
"Lengthy explanation but that does answer some questions".
"...Sooo, what's your name? I haven't seen anyone else in a while so it would be-"
"Why should I tell a lowly human like you".
This worthless human dares to address me so casually? What nerve, though he is a vice admiral, he should know better than to address an elder like that.
"... Oh, okay, that's fine I guess...let's just sit in silence"
A few minutes of awkward silence passed before a voice appeared from nowhere.
"T-bone, please exit the room and follow the person at the door, you will be given an explanation of what has happened"
The skeleton man got up to leave, but before he could, he gave a small wave goodbye and left.
Nothing left to do but to wait, and then I will leave this dratted place.
The clock ticked agonizingly slow, as if it were to almost stop in place. There was nothing in the room except cushioned chairs and a room plant.
If I could use my powers right now I would-
"Jaygarcia Saturn? Please exit the room and come with me, you will be informed of everything that will go on immediately"
How do they know my name? I guess I should probably go follow and find out.
As he walked out, he saw a figure, a living figure made out of geometric shapes, trapezoidal and triangular prisms for legs and arms, a rectangular prism for a body, and a sphere for a head. A very strange person.
"As I am sure you know, you are dead, and you may be-"
"I already know I am dead, this is hell, isn't it"
"... Maybe DON'T be so arrogant as to think you know everything, you are in the ghost space, as most people here call it. This is where you go when most people die, and most ordinary people will be brought into the city, but strong enough people like Marines over rank of Captain, pirates with known history and people of great skill are brought to fight-"
"Who do I fight?"
"...You fight in teams of four people, usually with people capable enough like you and test them with a battle. You don't even have to pass, just prove you are strong enough-"
"Why can't I use my devil fruit, or my haki and where is my cane, and-"
A sharp SLAP echoed through the hallway before the geometric person kept walking.
"Please let me finish my explanation. You can't use any of that here because if you could, chaos would ensue and this place would've been a wreck, and when you died, we may have fixed your legs up a bit, you can still have your cane, if you want, but it's useless".
The two exited through a doorway into a giant metropolis, strange metal boxes speeding down roads, the streets somewhat bare yet crowded and the sky highlighted with tips of buildings and such, the highest point no taller than 150 meters.
"Pardon my manners, Jaygarcia, my name is Seir, and this is the city of death, ironic for such a place"
"..."
What the hell? This place is insane, and what is that machine, and what are those shops?
"... Jaygarcia?... Well anyways"
He was promptly lifted into the air 200 meters, and when looking down, the city seemed to grow bigger! I'm talking 5 kilometers each way, lights all around.
"WHATTHEHELLWHATTHEHELLWHATTHEHELL!?!"
"Such a beautiful view. You may wonder how I can do this? well, look at the bottom of my foot"
I don't think it can be considered a foot, but the underside had a hole, and it blasted out air.
"My limbs are all like this, and it does use the stamina of the limb but I can recharge it by rest, or alternating which slows down the loss, let's go on with our tour"
And immediately after, they blasted towards the stadium on the far outskirts of the city.
