“Wait—” Parrot gasped out as they climbed higher and higher, his heartbeat picking up speed. “Wifies, wait, I’ll be good.” He didn’t want to be trapped on the platform again, his flight feathers clipped and his wings bound too tightly with rough rope. “I’ll be good,” he begged. “Please don’t put me back there. I don’t want to go back— Wifies please don’t put me back!”
“You tried to run,” Wifies repeated. “I’m going to keep you from running.”
Or Parrot tried to run and so Wifies took his wings.
