Summary
Rumor had it that Peak Lord Shen Qingqiu and Peak Lord Liu Qingge were friends before they were sworn enemies.
That was until one of Shen Qingqiu’s commonly known qi-deviations left him with amnesia, marking the beginning of their enmity.
Now, every time Shen Qingqiu insults Liu Qingge during their daily spars about how stupid and small-minded he is, Liu Qingge gets a hurt look on his face. Shen Qingqiu doesn’t care about Liu Qingge, but it’s become so common that maybe, just maybe, Shen Qingqiu has gotten a bit curious.
It isn’t until one of his emergency medical checkups that he is told a piece of lore. It seems insignificant to others, but it’s what gets Shen Qingqiu’s blood boiling, his gut twisting in—for the first time in a long time—guilt. And perhaps, the want for a… friend.
