Dual Trouble

Summary:

When CIA Agent Damon Perez meets Selene Tisias on a rescue mission, he is drawn into the lives of the Tisias twins and their secret. As he plots to free Selene from her constricting and dangerous life as a member of organized crime, the stakes rise higher than even. In this queer-centered story dealing with identity, societal expectations and the limits you adopt to fit in.

AKA I wanted to write a story for me by me about my childhood abuse and queer identity. Hopefully, this will be produced as an 8-episode TV show, (as intended) but I am a writer at heart.

Notes:

Not a lot to say here except this is the reason why I have been procrastinating all my other writing projects/fics.
I have been working on this idea for at least a year now and I am so excited to have something made completely by me.

Chapter 1: Episode 1(New Moon) Part one

Chapter Text

The Ritz could not hold a bonfire to the lavishly decorated room. It had an excessive elegance that only comes from having too much money. So much that you don't know what to do with it anymore. Exclusivity was hand-carved into the crown moulding and reached down from the crystal chandeliers.

And CIA Agent Damon E. Perez was here uninvited.

‘Here’ being The Emerald, a private casino (bar included). But that was about all it had, save tables and a maze of back rooms. There were no roulette wheels, card tables, or slot machines. Nothing that clinked casino, like chips. Even so, the rich found a way to bet. Assets, secrets, bribes, and lives were bought, sold, and traded in the expansive parlour.

Unfortunately, Damon was not here on a sting op. The government profited from every deal, and the regulars who happened to hold top government positions were happy to turn a blind eye to the dealings, unless it benefited them, of course.

Damon searched the room for his target. The room was full of people, but still felt spacious; there was a hush in the room like a blanket. He was here on an infiltration and rescue mission. The specifics were classified to the wall; all Dami knew was that the target had also infiltrated the organisation running the establishment, unluckily for him, he had been caught.

A few people stopped their discussions to stare suspiciously at him, and there was no sight of the Target.

Suddenly, a loud buzz sounded in his ear. Dami’s hand shot up, pulling the hidden earpiece partially out to avoid permanent hearing loss. He was still readjusting the earpiece as the voice on the other side spoke.

“See the woman 5 o’clock?”

Dami couldn't answer if he wanted to, so he snuck a glance over his shoulder.

She was sitting at the bar chatting with the bartender. She had long dark hair that was let down, lying down her back. Dami could only see her profile. With her chin propped on her wrist, she looked angelic. But, a sharp kind of beauty. Damon knew that appearances were deceiving.

“That’s her.” He paused, “You know what to do.”

That he did.
