Summary
In a world taken over by aliens, their fascination with humans has gone to the point where they use humans like pets and treat them like objects, or toys.
The most famous use for humans, now, is the galaxy-famous show “Alien Stage”; where humans are forced to sing in a competition to the death, each round against one another until the final round with one crowned a winner, now carrying the guilt of the deaths of competitors who died going against the new champion
For the 100th season of Alien Stage (roughly 1,000 years since it began), the aliens decided there shall be a special version of the show, different from how it usually is. They’ve decided that for this season, they will genetically recreate famous characters from a book called The Fly King (also known as the Lord of the Flies, but changed due to mistranslation).
They recreated the world the poor boys from the island lived through, from their schools, to the island, even their home life, making sure their personalities will be spot on to what the book has written. Every moment what they experienced should be the same, up until Simon’s death. Before the first stab into his flesh, everything seemed to pause. Their whole world was about to change.
