The 1-A agency was, for all intents and purposes, a terrible idea.
It wasn't necessarily a bad idea in the sense that they couldn't work together, the class worked together excellently after all they'd been through together. Getting Aizawa in on the agency too helped with the regulation of their various personalities.
It was more so that 1-A were so intimately familiar with one another that they would frequently bicker and poke at one another during their patrols.
And, if certain people were put on patrol together by accident, well, it tended to get a little bit out of hand.
Very careful management by both Yaoyorozu and Aizawa meant that for a year and half they were able to quell any rumors and prevent any disastrous duos from roaming the streets together. But that all fell apart the week that Aizawa was away on a drug bust on the other side of the country and Yaoyorozu was out with the flu.
That week, Deku and Ground Zero were scheduled together for an 8 hour long patrol.
Naturally, it didn't quite go as planned, especially when the media caught wind that the two were out solo on patrol together for the first time since the war had ended.
Despite formally being a hero duo, they hadn't actually gone out together due to Yaoyorozu and Aizawa's persistent scheduling
And for good reason. As much as Midoriya usually reigns Bakugou in, sometimes he gets swept up into the nonsense instead.
“You wanna explain what happened out there?” Yaoyorozu asks delicately, her fingers steepled under her chin as she waits.
“Ummm,” Deku starts.
“No!” Dynamight snaps, his teeth gnashing and everything. “The fucker had it coming!”
“I see,” Yaoyorozu hums, moving one hand towards the projector button while continuing to maintain cool eye contact. A single manicured finger comes down just once as that is all it takes for the feed she’d had the foresight to set up before the two had arrived to pop up on the wall behind her.

“You were saying?” Yaoyorozu repeats.
“I said what I said,” Dynamight retorts, his hands crossed across his chest as he scowls down at her.
With another deft flick of a finger Yaoyorozu’s custom swivel chair slowly rises in height until he can no longer look down at her.
“So um,” Deku tries again, stepping forward with his arms out to deescalate. “What Kacchan is trying to say is—“
“Is that the fucker had it coming,” Dynamight nods.
“Uh… well I mean kinda yeah.”
Yaoyorozu lifts a single eyebrow and waits. This oughta be good.
“Okay so it started out like a normal interaction right? Fan comes up, gushes about being a fan, asks for an autograph, all that stuff. But like… the paper he wanted autographed looked weird. I didn’t manage to get a good look at it before Kacchan reduced it to ash but it definitely looked sus.”
“It was a goddamn motherfucking contract is what it was. The little shit tried to scam me into signing a release for him to use my name and likeness for marketing a product.”
Yaoyorozu sits back in her chair. “Huh.” She murmurs. Not even close to what she’d been expecting but easily verifiable now that she thinks about it.
Before calling the two in, she'd taken a quick look at DynoNuggets account since he wouldn’t be the first to simply be claiming to be a fanboy simply to better sell the story. Not only was he a true stan but he’d been posting about a merch idea he’d had just last week.
Yaoyorozu pinches the bridge of her nose with a sigh. “For future,” she starts, her voice tight even as she starts calculating her next move. “Don’t blow up the evidence.”
Deku, honest to god, pouts. “We didn't want anyone else to accidentally sign it,” he explains like that was even a reasonable possibility. “We were doing the world a favor by destroying it.”
“This is why we don't let you patrol together,” she says with another heavy sigh.
“We were very effective though,” Dyanmight pushes like there's any possible chance of them getting to do this again in the future.
The unfortunate part was that they were incredibly effective. Just having the two of them together resulted in a 17.2% uptick in average villain takedowns per hour and it moved them both up in the hero rankings as well.
“You still don't get to go out together again,” she responds firmly as though speaking to toddlers. Put the Wonder Duo in a room together and it certainly felt like it sometimes.
Thankfully, she has control over Dyanmight's social media accounts after one too many incidents, so she's able to draft a statement to the public fairly quickly.
How they take it though, that's all up to them.
