Summary
Pam glances at the bus behind her in the mirror. There’s only one passenger, resting his head against the window and staring out of it. The bus is always fairly disused anyway, but at this time of night, it’s always empty. The boy sitting there is in fact one of the few people she does normally drive. It’s often been just the two of them, silent on the rides back to the city under the blanket of night. She almost feels as if she has a connection with him.
She finds herself thinking that he’s cute.
