When another early-bird arrives, however, he has to look twice, because he’s practically glowing. It makes Ricky irrationally annoyed that someone can look so good at this hour, and the closer he gets to him, the more it turns out he smells good too, damn it.
“Hi!” the stranger says so enthusiastically that it’s easy to forget it’s ass-o’clock-in-the-fucking-morning and not midday when people typically get a surge of energy. He can practically see him vibrating with caffeine, and he almost sees himself in this guy.
Ricky tries not to roll his eyes.
“Hello to you too, Mr…” he says back, voice a bit amused as he looks over the very, very bubbly persona in front of him. He kind of wants to break him a little. Oh, and he’s got a lanyard; isn't that adorable? “Kim Gyuvin, is it?”
“Yeah!” Gyuvin answers immediately with zero shame, nodding at the speed of light. Ricky is genuinely surprised that he doesn’t hear his neck crack. He watches as Gyuvin’s eyes flit over him, seemingly looking for something that would say his name on it, only to see a lack of a lanyard: “Uhh… what’s your name?”
Ricky smirks.
