The war is over, and Class 1-A heads into second year. Katsuki, Izuku and Shoto are trying their best to cope. But there is no wound that heals with salt still in it.

Ch1-The war is over. Shoto is getting bullied by other students after the war because of Dabi who is a villain and they ask if Shoto thinks Dabi was right and Shoto says yes. They punch Shoto in the face and Bakugou watches this and sighs before he makes them stop and thinks Shoto seems like a ghost and wonders why Shoto lets them bully him. Izuku is still a UA student even though he's quirkless and he cries to Inko when he talks about how he teamed up with Bakugou and Shoto during class and Shoto was the strategist. Endeavor is not a hero anymore but ask Shoto if he wants to start training again for fun and Shoto is tense. Bakugou always feels tired because he almost died.
Ch2- Bakugou has a panic attack and thinks he's dying and falling and Aizawa calms him. Bakugou says he doesn't want to do therapy anymore and tells AIzawa to not tell Mitsuki since she's treating him like a helpless kitten. Aizawa is worried about them all especially Shoto who has been going home more lately but is very blank. Bakugou explodes when Izuku pats his hair and later Shoto pokes his shoulder but Bakugou stops after that which Aizawa notes. Izuku and Shoto go to Bakugou's room and Bakugou is surprised to hear Shoto laugh and it's like windchimes and sounds like the first time he's heard him laugh. They get into a pillow fight and Shoto looks scared when Bakugou gets on top of Shoto. Izuku is hurt when Bakugou grabs his arm and Bakugou realizes Izuku is cutting himself. Rei goes to visit Fuyumi and Fuyumi is protective of Shoto who has lost his phone.
Ch3-Rei is not home so Shoto is alone with a drunk Endeavor who scares him. Bakugou comes to Shoto's house to return his phone but notices that Shoto's leg is hurt and he can hear crashing inside the house and smell of alcohol and ask where Rei is and Bakugou knows Endeavor is drunk. Shoto flinches so hard from the crash he lands into Bakugou who can feel Shoto's beating heart. Bakugou tells Shoto to tell Aizawa but Shoto tells Bakugou to leave which angers Bakugou. Uraraka is making popcorn with Shoto and Shoto mentions Endeavor put him on a strict diet. The next day, they're doing simulation training and Bakugou attacks Shoto in the middle of it, and Izuku gets eliminated when Shoto grabs his injured arm. Shoto ends up winning and Aizawa says the whole class did terrible but softens and says Shoto did good and that he's impressed which makes Shoto smile. Bakugou is upset and Shoto tries to apologize but Bakugou says he was trying to help him. -
