Summary
Before the world ended, Solara Martinez was just a woman trying to make it through ordinary days, carrying her own scars, secrets, and stubborn will to survive. Then the outbreak tears everything apart-cities fall, families vanish, and the rules of humanity rot right along with the bodies in the streets. And then she finds him.
Rick Grimes wakes up to a world that has already moved on without him, alone in a hospital overrun by silence, blood, and death. Solara should know better than to trust a stranger with a badge and haunted eyes, but something about him pulls her in anyway. Maybe it is the grief he is trying to bury. Maybe it is the goodness still clinging to him when the world has given everyone else permission to become monsters.
