Summary
Simon Cambourne, hates his life. Despite that there might not be anything he hates more than his father. He’s a horrible father that forgets about him half the time.
That’s the one and only thing he has in common with Jack Merridew.
He’s known Jack for a while now. They go to the same Christian boys school.
Jack doesn’t like Simon, at least in front of others. Over holiday it’s like they’re best friends. They spend everyday together. It’s not like there’s anything else to do.
Simon has made it a point to not let anyone know about his father. Jack is aware, but knowing Simon, if he pushes him hard enough, he could find out anything. Simon knows he’s pathetic, but how could he possibly say no to Jack?
