Chapter Text
Wild stumbled out of bed at midnight, in need of a snack.
As he opened his bedroom door, he realized he was only in his shorts. He shrugged, too tired to care.
Entering the kitchen, Wild found that Hyrule was already there, hunched over a textbook. Wild barely glanced at him and the tin he was holding before making his way over to the fridge.
Opening it, Wild grabbed the first thing he saw--which happened to be a cheese stick--and moved to join Hyrule sitting at the kitchen island. Hyrule had papers scattered everywhere and was eating whatever was in front of him with a spoon, the silverware clicking against the tin.
Wild frowned when he saw powder falling off the spoon that Hyrule shoved into his mouth
Curious, Wild asked, “Is that crack?”, only mostly joking.
Hyrule jumped, and even though the lighting was dim, Wild could tell his face was red.
“...no,” Hyrule responded, mouth full of the mysterious substance.
Wild snorted. “You don’t sound so sure there, Rulie.”
Wild made to stick his finger into the canister, but Hyrule pulled it away, hugging it tightly to his body as he glared at Wild. In turn, Wild raised an eyebrow at him. There was a pause before Hyrule huffed and held out the canister, letting Wild try the mystery substance.
Sticking his finger in the powder, then in his mouth, Wild paused for a minute.
“...is this Kool-Aid powder?”
Hyrule was silent.
“Hyrule, are you eating from a two-liter can of Kool-Aid powder…with a spoon?”
“...maybe,” Hyrule mumbled.
Wild threw up his hands, done with his brother.
“Oh come on!” Hyrule cried, “You ate rock soup last week, you can’t get mad at me for--”
“Stone soup doesn’t have rocks, and I am absolutely judging you for this!”
“It tastes good!”
“Your taste buds are broken!”
“You try being a nursing student with clinicals--”
---------------
“Where did you even get that?”
“...Sky.”
“Of course he’s your dealer.”
