   Summary

   Two lost souls, both unable to let go of the past.

   After death tore them apart, each spent decades mourning the other. The Reader arrived in Hell shortly after Alastor, but he never knew. Believing she had gone to Heaven, he buried his grief and carried on, while she watched from afar, hiding a truth that remained buried for over ninety years.

   But secrets cannot stay hidden forever.

   When fate finally brings them together again, years of lies, shame, resentment, and heartbreak come spilling into the open. The people they once loved are gone, replaced by strangers shaped by time, suffering, and the choices they've made.

   Can Alastor accept that his little star has grown into someone he no longer recognizes? And can you accept the man he has become? A man far different from the one you once knew and loved?
