Summary
When Annie finally seems to tire of pummeling Eren until his back is bruised, or more likely, when Mikasa comes to stand next to Eren all protective and threatening and says that’s enough, Annie, and Annie shrugs, Ymir finally takes a real interest in the proceedings. Mostly because Annie, ice queen extraordinaire, who also couldn’t care less about everything going on, comes to stand directly next to Ymir. It’s like she’s copying her pose, arms crossed, lower back resting nonchalantly against the railing, one foot crossed in front of the other. There’s only one difference: Annie’s so small. Stronger than her, yes, than her slender frame, yes. But still so small.
“What are you looking at,” says Annie, when she notices Ymir staring.
“Is it illegal to look now?”
