melting ice off my body.
Hotter than the wire
Searing us together for eternity.
You’re as soft as a kitten’s fur
for me to run my hands through.
Smoother than the purrs
that only grew.
I hope we stay together
for as long as the gods’ allow.
I would make that forever,
but people say that’s “playing foul.”
