Summary
After a series of disasters leaves the Boston Raiders down several key defensive players, management has no choice but to bring up a few players from the AHL. It isn't the best situation, but Ilya Rozanov has other things to worry about. Other things, like Shane Hollander abandoning him on his couch and ghosting him.
The new call-ups are fine, if not a little annoying. Especially the younger of the two, Peter Landry, or Lando as he introduces himself. He's chatty, overly excited, and cannot focus on a singular task to save his life off the ice, but he plays well.
Maybe these new players will be the jumpstart the Raiders need to get back into play-off contention. Maybe they will mesh well with the team. And maybe, it won't matter that Peter Landry's sister is Rose Landry. And it might not matter that Rose Landry and Shane Hollander have gone public with their relationship.
Because Ilya can totally be cool about Shane having a girlfriend. He can be professional with his ex-lover's girlfriend's brother. Right?
