The library sekai was quiet and serene. The pink haired virtual singer hummed to herself, as she put a book away. A sneeze had come out of nowhere and out curiosity she peeked behind a book shelf and found a blue haired man rubbing his nose on the floor. “Oh! A new virtual singer in the sekai?” Luka clasped her hands together and smiled. “Huh?” Said the new one with a bemused expression. “Come on! Get up! I’ll have to show you around the library!”She quickly took his hand to start her tour of the library. “Your kaito?” She asked for confirmation. “Yes. Thats my name.” He answered. “Well, welcome to the library sekai! Oh, im sure you’re gonna love the girls that made this! They’re so sweet!” The woman smiled as she talked about them. “I cant wait to introduce you to them! Well, come along now! I have to show you my favorite spot in here!”
Luka had shown kaito everything about the library sekai. Her little reading nook with a soft blanket to cuddle in, how she sometimes makes hot cocoa with the others, and kaito listened intently with every word she said. Now, they were sitting at the little reading nook cuddled together under the blankets, kaito had snuggled up closer to feel her warmth as was luka still rambling on about the sekai. “And we dont read any of the books here since they’re usually about the girls feelings so stay away from them. Rin has been caught reading them once though but we chewed her out. They are a couple of books that we can read though. Mostly books they read before, i can give you some recommendations! Hold on, i think theres one near here.” She left the soft blanket to look for one of her favorite books. “Ah, there it is!” She pulled a little brown book and went back under the sheets. “The gifter?” The blue one said, looking over to see the book. Luka grinned, “mmhmm! Its one of my favorites!” She caressed the book before giving it to kaito.
For the past hour, kaito and luka had just sat there under covers, all snuggled up, reading the book together. Soon, the soft blanket, the exhaustion of her eyes from reading, and the dim lights had made her become tired. Eventually, she gave in to her tiredness and fell asleep on to kaito’s shoulder. Kaito looked back to his side and blushed. A small giggle came from him, as he put the book down and carefully covered her with pillows and blankets. “Sleep well luka.” He smiled softly and left the reading nook to make some hot cocoa.
