Rin leaned back on her chair in the quiet library reading a manga one of the girls had lended to her. Engrossed in the pages of the mystical book she flipped, page after page, not even stopping to admire the art which she usually does for manga, as she just needed to know what would happen next. This, was sorely interrupted by a THUMP
The bright blonde girl looked back to see meiko, throwing away book after book. Rin had a mix of confusion and disgust plastered on her face.
Why would meiko throw away perfectly fine books?
“Meiko!” Rin yelled…well, usually they whisper so this was more of a…slightly loud talking voice.
Meiko, briefly stopped her destructive task and looked back. “Huh?”
“Why are you trashing those books? They seem fine to me!”
The brunette lifted up a book for rin to more clearly see. “This is all junk!”
“Wha- how? Gimme that!” She got up from her and gently placed the manga down to walk over towards meiko.
“High school algebra?!” The same confused and disgusted look came on to her face.
“Did the girls give these to you? Or are these books just here? Why would their feelings create…this?”
Meiko shrugged. “They must be studying this. Well, whatever. Its all junk. Im gonna burn this up later.”
Rin nodded in agreement. The pair had now spent their day finding new academic books to burn away.
LATER
Luka moved books around and had double, no triple checked every shelf.
Meiko chuckled. “Heh, what are you looking for? Do you need help?” She offered sarcastically.
“Do you know where haruna’s books went? She needs them for a math test coming up. They’re titled something like “high school math” do you know if you’ve seen them?” The pink haired woman asked, unknowing that the vocaloid right in front of her was the culprit of her problem.
The teasing vocaloid blinked.
“…I may have burned them.”
Luka blinked back. “…WHAT-“ her words were interrupted by coughing. Her voice was the loudest it had ever been, and she was not used to raising her voice so high.
She cleared her throat. “Meiko. Haruna’s gonna fail her test. You’re gonna have to apologize to her.”
Meiko bit her lip. “Will do.” The ashamed woman said.
