Summary
For a brief moment, the hand in front of him stops, but then gentle fingers brush his veil to the side. The silky fabric parts to reveal his pale face, and Okkotsu scrutinizes him closely. One hand takes a hold of his chin, tilting his face from side to side, and Toge closes his eyes to allow the crown prince to do as he desires.
What more is he now, than his property?
After a long, slow moment, Toge is released, and the veil flutters back down in front of his face. "I wanted to see the face of my newest concubine," Okkotsu simply says, taking his seat. "Go. You may be excused."
Without missing a beat, Toge bows and flees the room, trying to ignore the traitorous thump of his heart. His face is aflame, and he takes a moment to catch his breath outside of the heir's quarters before he retreats back to his new room.
Sent as a concubine to the crown prince, Toge must decide where his allegiance lies - to his clan, or his new husband.
