Lindsey sighs. “Two in the morning can also be seen as early, I guess. It’s fine. What do you need, Peter?”
“Uh. I can’t find Mark,” Peter admits quietly.
There’s silence on Lindsey’s end for a few minutes. “You can’t find Hoffman,” she repeats slowly.
Peter closes his eyes tightly, clenching his jaw. He knows he sounds ridiculous, but sounding ridiculous doesn’t mean the problem isn’t real. “Correct.”
