Chapter Text
The first thing Yin notices when he wakes up before even opening his eyes is the massive headache he has.
The second thing he manege to notice just by touch alone is that Yin is on a stranger’s bed, he opens his eyes looking around trying to recognize anything around him but ultimately failing.
Yin struggles to get off the cocoon of blankets in the bed…? In the mattress on the floor once free of the blankets Yin notices a third thing.
His body is…tiny way too tiny with pudgy hands and chubby checks Yin looks at himself in the mirror on the wall. He looks adorable, more importantly, he looks like a preschooler.
“What the fuck?!” Yin is shocked to hear his own voice sound so high pitched, first he’s in a strange place and now it turns out he’s a toddler?! His headache is getting worse by the minute.
Trying to get his mind off things Yin decides to explore the room he’s currently in, there’s nothing much the mattress Yin woke up in, the mirror, a fluffy rug and finally a closet.
The latter has pretty much just clothes and blankets so against every survival instinct Yin has he leaves the safety of the room, like a horror movie protagonist Yin cautiously leaves the room just to find a long empty hallway.
“This is where I die…” Yin laments while walking to the nearest door in the hallway, a rundown bath room greets him with a bad smell coming from inside.
“Nope” Yin closes the door and quickly hurries to the next door.
This goes on for like two more doors until Yin finds the living room, the tv still on with cold food on the coffee table totally not ominous at all.
“What’s going on here…?” Yin whispers as he looks around the space, the tv is what grabs Yin’s attention the most, it’s on the news, something Yin doesn’t watch much this time though it’s different.
This time the news are from Gotham City like the Gotham City Yin bounces in place as he thinks he’s in the same city as Batman right now.
So somehow Yin ended up in the Batman universe as a toddler, and yup not gonna question the logic of that one.
From the information Yin has gathered he reincarnated maybe as a baby and just now gained consciousness, but who needed to think of that right now, plus the new body has neglectful parents at best if they let a toddler alone in an apartment in Gotham and not much else.
So yeah this kinda sucks toddlers can’t do much. How is Yin supposed to do anything fun like probably get mugged or something.
Just as Yin tragically laments his new life for at least the next decade an ad pops up on the tv bringing in the attention of Yin.
“What the fuck”
"Scent blockers...? What is that? ...perfect for strong Alph- nope" no Yin wasn't stuck in the omegaverse nope, no way the tv was totally lying to him yeah definetlly.
"The..there's no way this...this was suppose to...I was supposed to be stuck in Gotham" Yin mutters to himself pacing around the room.
Yin stares at the tv for a while in a state of denial slowly and recluntantly coming to accept his new reality.
"I'm stuck in a 13 year old Batman omegaverse fanfic."
