Summary

Whereas there was one purring sound accompanied by the warmth that settled Shen Jiu's worries immediately, so he did not bother and seeked that warmth and comfort every time. Huddled around other small bodies, the vibration coming out from the warmth sent Shen Jiu into a restful and healing sleep.
After some time he tried to pry his eyes open, and was met with blinding lights, it burned his retina and made him recoil. But with patience Shen Jiu got accustomed to it.
That was when he finally realized his predicament.
He had been reborn as a cat. |
Or, Shen jiu dies and gets transmigrated as a cat in the modern world, where shen yuan adopts him.
