Chapter Text
Dove stood, helping Bison down from the platform on the shrine.
The two would have to climb down the watcher shrine was covered, almost fully stalagmites.
The night air was cold, breezy. The lightning conductor had fallen off, and now had been reattached with minimal casualties, but, if took a few hours.
Dove held a hand out to help Bison down the next spike.
.
..
…
A foot slid, the figure on the higher spike falling forward, down to a lower, seemingly accessible one.
.
..
…
Unable to even muster a breath, the figure impaled through the bottom left of the chest before flailing to get off, then falling flat again. The spike was stained wine red.
Dove dropped their hands. Blood pulsed in their ears, the world deafening as a body lay there, still, slowly cooling, unmoving.
What had they done? They don’t remember pulling forward, but they were the only one there. How did this happen? What will happen to them after people find out?
