    Jax's mouth waters uncontrollably, tapping his lips together the cool temperature of his snake bite piercings helping ground him slightly.

    Pomni leans her head back a bit more. Jax had shifted back slightly staring down at her. His breath was stolen with one look.

    The silence sits between them in a knowing way. All too well Jax can feel it.

    Their tension is that air of something else they don’t want to name. How he doesn’t want to admit he has been staring down his roommate way too often at this point. Too much too noticeable his awareness calling him to pull away. Finally he does just that.
