   Summary

   After a beautiful afternoon that had ended in a way neither of them had liked, they only saw each other again three months later. But things were different now. Whilst Ilya couldn’t keep his eyes off of Shane, the other man hadn’t even glanced at him once.

   That, more than anything, made Ilya angry, causing him to hit Shane, accidentally using too much force and sending him off to a hospital. Immediate regret and a way too public display of concern are only followed up by a descending spiral of blame and self-hatred.

   OR: Ilya hits Shane after not speaking to him for three months (Tuna Meltdown), and Shane lands in a hospital with several injuries. How does Ilya even begin to apologize? And what about the people who might or might not have noticed all the emotions that Ilya had forgotten to hide?
