"Face it, Four." Warriors all but cooed. "There's no winning this."
The smith shook his head, eyes full of steel determination. "It's not over until it's over."
"Oh, but it is over." Warriors flashed a smile empty of all humor. There was none of the usual affection in his gaze as he stared them down. "There's nothing you can do about it. My victory is complete!"
The firelight caught on the gems studded over the Capetian's fingers, hanging around his beck. The diadem on his head shone as bright as the madness in his eyes.
"I AM THE PRETTIEST PRINCESS!"
