Neither of them wants to acknowledge that she always used to be excited to share new developments and bits of science expertise with the Princess; neither wants to acknowledge that the way she's treating Zelda is new.
Neither wants to acknowledge what that would mean.
Or: Zelda needs a replacement for the Purah Pad once she arrives home, but this is not as straightforward as one would think.
