   Summary

   While Simon is trapped in the Iron Lung deep in the blood ocean, he begins to have hallucinations. It could be the radiation building up in the sub. It could be the unnatural forces deep in the ocean. But Simon starts to imagine a life out of Eden, out of the blood ocean, and with a picture-perfect person….. Is it real? Or is it just his mind playing tricks on him?
   The fic starts right when the sub is trapped in “the red.” Instead of Simon having hallucinations about Ellie (the eel creature) and “the light,” he dreams of Ryland Grace. I didn’t include Rocky or events on Erid since this is Simon dreaming/hallucinating. (I promise I love Rocky though!)

   “Hey, there you are. I thought you were never gonna get up.” Yep, I’m definitely dead. Simon was convinced that was the only way this gorgeous man was standing before him. The sun perfectly lit his golden hair. His glasses were barely staying on his nose. And those eyes, a perfect shade of blue.
   “Uh, yeah, I uh-” Simon didn’t know what to say. All he could focus on was the man standing before him. “A loss for words? That’s a first from you.” The beautiful man chuckled. Yep, I’m in heaven. This is heaven.
