Trinity inspected Dennis for a long moment before speaking, quietly this time.
“Write the letter.”

It's October of 1986, and Dennis Whitaker is a second-year medical student at UCSF. He's been trying to write a letter for weeks — to Dr M. Robinavitch, whose book ‘The First Hour’ was only ever meant to be supplementary reading.
He sends it expecting no reply. Robby writes back anyway.
