Summary
Since picking up the pieces of his life and putting them together, Blade has reforged himself into something more complete, more determined, and more focused on a single point. The Mother of Eternity, standing at the end of his shattered sword.
Yet, he finds it strange when instead of being ordered back to the Stellaron Hunters, he is instead ordered to a very different destination: Assist the Astral Express, and live among them for some time, becoming a temporary passenger on this train that soars over the stars through their next destination.
Blade has his own tensions with the Express, despite recent alliances, and yearns to stay with the companions he trusts far more. On this journey, what does Destiny's Slave wish him to learn, and what can he possibly gain that he hasn't already?
Sunday, meanwhile, is embroiling himself more and more within the spirit of Trailblaze, and yet feels a pull to Blade as a fellow fugitive, and as someone he knows can be trusted. When they overlap, perhaps the stars will lead them to a new entwined future neither of them imagined.
