    The man blinked, hand coming up to his head to cradle it and eventually, slowly but surely, did his eyes fall onto Ren. He froze, and so did Ren, but for some reason Ren didn’t move and flop back into the ocean like he should've. Instead, he kept his hand hovering over the man’s crotch, unable to swallow the lump in his throat as they held eye contact.
    “Shit…” The man muttered under his breath, wiping his hand over his face as if he was dreaming. Ren knew he wasn't, but maybe it was best if the man believed he was.
