Work Text:
The water crashes against the sand, and all Ravio can do is stare at it. It is heavy, commanding, and yet… soothing. Calm.
He wants to run to it, to run from it. Caught in the indecision, all that he can do is stare at the expanse of ocean. And he could barely believe his eyes.

"We had been cut off from the sea, years ago," he explained, voice thick with delayed grief. "As Lorule crumbled under our feet."
Link said nothing. He didn't have to.
He just held Ravio's hand all the tighter.
