Anything

Summary:

Okay, so perhaps Alejandro let Bridgette kiss him in the Yukon that second time instead of leaving her stranded to a pole. In his defence he did have a bigger plan, one that would finally get him a boyfriend.

Work Text:

Owen was gone. Owen was gone and Alejandro could not be in a better mood. Sure, they may have lost the challenge in the Yukon, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Now he no longer had to listen to anymore ‘little buddies’.

The only downside to this was that it was not his doing- or at the very least not what he had planned to do.

Alejandro had originally planned to have Bridgette eliminated. In fact, he was so close to humiliating her when she had attempted to kiss him a second time. But then he thought back to Noah’s face earlier that day, the annoyance when she had the nerve to shove him to the ground.

Typically, Alejandro would be more than willing to handle it himself. But not this time, not when he had made it his goal to get the other boy to actually scheme on the show, to put his brilliant, beautiful mind to use. So instead Alejandro let her kiss him. Alejandro let her kiss him and he was planning on using that to hopefully finally bring up Noah’s ire enough against her that he reacted and decided to take care of it- to eliminate the competition himself. And well, there was a second motivation. One that stemmed from Alejandro wanting to get himself a boyfriend out of a yearlong friend. To make things finally official instead of just the odd making out or kissing or ‘hanging out’ (they were dates and Alejandro was willing to die on that hill). And he was willing to play dirty to do so.

Which lead him here, in the cargo hold, definitely not pouting as his favourite victim blanked him, favouring the book in his hands.

Alejandro cleared his throat to ensure that Noah’s attention was on him as he stretched languidly, internally smug at how despite most of his face being covered by the book he was sooo invested in (and not him, which rude) Noah was looking at him from the corner of his eye clearly tracking the way his shirt rode up. “You know, Bridgette kissed me during the challenge. Twice actually. The first was an accident but the second was very much of her own accord.”

Noah’s jaw audibly clicked from behind his book. Alejadro grinned.

“Why are you telling me this?”

“I thought you might like to know.” Alejandro shrugged, very much staring him down from where he stood. That damned book. Noah must have picked up on it anyways seeing as his fingers started to tap on the side of his arm.

“Please, why would I care? It’s not like we’re in a relationship. You’re free to screw around and kiss whoever you want to. Just make sure they’re not in a monogamous relationship next time.” He dismissed; Alejandro definitely did not pout.

“So you would be fine watching Bridgette start to officially pursue me? She did seem rather determined. Even told me that she was stopping her fling with Geoff when she got back- making her intentions rather clear in a confessional. Or so she said.”

The tapping got faster.

“Yes. And they don’t have ‘a fling’.” He finally put his book down face caked in annoyance like he was pissed off by him interrupting his reading time- but Alejandro knew better. “They’ve been in a relationship for over a year now- they haven’t got our kind of ‘situation’ going on. So congratulations, you’ve just played home wrecker.” …ah. Perhaps he had miscalculated there. Based on how she had reacted and talked about him, he had assumed that it was a purely physical thing where they were not tied down to one another. That put a downer on that side of it then.

“And what of Heather? She has seen rather …desperate over my attention. Or even Lashawna perhaps?”

“Do what you want. If something goes wrong and one of them rips your hair out that’s on you.”

“And yet I remember you being so against my specific tactics. Are you encouraging me now?”

“I said it before and I’ll say it again. I hate that you’re playing into a stereotype that’s genuinely beneath you. You could do better for yourself, and you know it.” It was so sweet and noble of him to say that to him. The way he said it so blankly like it was a pure fact he had no attachment to despite the fact that the tips of his ears were glowing red. It was adorable.

“Ah well,” Alejandro dragged out, sitting beside him so that he could run a hand down his propped up leg, grinning at the barely restrained shiver- so sensitive, “perhaps if I were in an official relationship and not just in a… benefitable friendship, then I would be forced to put that strategy to rest. I am a loyal man after all.”

Noah turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. “Is this your way of asking me out?”

“Perhaps. What would you say if it was?”

“I’d probably say yes.”

“Then, starting today, will you date me Noah? Officially of course.”

“Hmmm, no.”

Noah.”

“Fine, yes, you big drama queen.”

“Good.” He purred out, completely in contrast to the brewing excitement inside him. Noah just looked at him in amusement before his face went blank again.

“You know,” Noah started, picking at his nails slightly and unfortunately looking away from him, “now that we’re officially dating, you better stick to that. I don’t want to see you flirting with Heather or Leshawna or Bridgette again. Ever.”

“So you admit it- you were jealous.”

He sighed. “Yes idiot. I was jealous.”

“I have never been so happy to hear that, and here I thought all of my efforts had been for naught.”

“Oh really?” their faces were merely inches apart, Alejandro ran his hand down Noah’s back until it rested on the small of it (like he knew he liked) and in return felt the other’s hand cradle the side of his face with his palm resting on one side and his thumb stretched across to stroke the other side. Alejandro leaned in to close the gap, being unable to wait any longer. But then the grip on his jaw tightened and he was held in place. “You’re such a brat you know.” Noah scoffed

“And you are a tease.” Alejandro pouted when his boyfriend (his boyfriend) very much did not kiss him. Instead, he pulled his face away.

“Only good boys get kisses.” Noah shrugged with a faux apathy, but Alejandro knew better. There were more creases in his forehead, and he was rubbing his fingers together. An unconscious habit he does when deep in thought, working something out in his mind. Dios mio did Alejandro love his mind.

Alejandro tilted his head slightly in his grip that loosened slightly and put on his best ‘I am but an innocent yet charming young man who had never done anything wrong, ever’ face. “Am I not good?”

“After the little stunts you’ve been pulling? Not at all. Desperate maybe, but not good.”

“What do I have to do to be good enough to earn a kiss then mi amor? I do not believe I will be able to survive for long without them.”

Noah bit his lip in thought, his hand shifting from his jaw to tuck a strand of Alejandro’ hair behind his ear and leaned in close like what he was going to say was too important to share with anything around them and mierda. He was starting to get excited. “Well… if you really want to make it up to me, you have to do exactly what I say. Do you think you can handle that?”

“For you? Anything.”

“Good.” He muttered, lips brushing his cheek and as a shiver ran down his spine, Alejandro found himself unable to keep his smile down.

It seemed like perhaps he would get what he wanted after all.

Notes:
