   Summary

   Nine years after the end of the Second Wizarding War, Draco Malfoy has all but rehabilitated his family name and built a new life for himself.

   It’s… fine. Predicable, but he’s not complaining. He gets to have a life. That’s enough.

   That is, until Draco’s long dormant Dark Mark awakens in the middle of the night with a burning fury, sending him straight to the Minister for Magic. To circumvent leaks out of the DMLE that would be sure to send the Wizarding World into a panic, Shacklebolt assigns the Ministry’s most competent Unspeakable, Hermione Granger, to the case.

   Predictably, it goes about as well as he'd expect. Unpredictably, Draco rather enjoys it.
